We have spearheaded a portfolio of flagship initiatives—from carbon reduction to waste management, here is how we are actively addressing climate change and lowering our environmental footprint.

Planted 50,000 trees at the Pakistan Cables Urban Forest, which is Pakistan’s first and largest Miyawaki-based Urban Forest set up on an industrial estate. The Pakistan Cables urban forest is spread across 3 acres of land at the new factory in Nooriabad, Sindh.

2.3MW solar power capacity commissioned at its factory in Nooriabad, Sindh. The expanded solar capacity is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by 1,956 tons annually, equivalent to planting approximately 100,000 trees.

Amongst the first 26 companies in Pakistan to sign on to the Race to Zero, the Company pledged the Business Ambition For 1.5°C Commitment that aligns with its commitment to keeping warming to 1.5°C and reaching science-based net-zero emissions by 2050.

Pakistan’s first building material company to have its science-based emission reduction targets validated and approved by SBTi. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling organisations to set science-based emissions reduction targets.
